Black History Black Future: A Day of Film, Music, and Storytelling Celebrating African American History I am so pleased to be apart of the inaugural Black History Black Future event presented by the North by West Foundation. The North by West Foundation is a non-profit organization located in Del Norte County, CA, dedicated to enriching the cultural identity of the Pacific Northwest by hosting events that cater to our communities. We honor and seek to support the values and the arts of the Pacific Northwest. I'll be presenting a combination of my historical 'edutainment' lecture-performances on American popular music and jazz.
