OVER THE MOON to be presenting ELLA The Early Years to kick off the HR Jazz 2026 Ella Fitzgerald Jazz Celebration in Ella's hometown of Newport News, Virginia! It's a month-long c-ELLA-bration beginning with me on April 4th. April 24th will be Jae Sinnett's Zero to 60 Quartet and The John Pizzarelli Trio featuring Catherine Russell. And closing out the c-ELLA-bration on May 8th will be legendary trumpeter Randy Brecker, saxophonist Ada Rovatti and NEA Jazz Master and multi Grammy award winner, Terri Lyne Carrington and We Insist!
